Thanks Didier for these links: www.youtube.com/watch?v=wwAUU9n4GhYwww.youtube.com/watch?v=u2sOsVK2yBkI just watched the videos and only afterwards realized I didn't know if they actually built the car or if it is just a design. Either way, the car uses the Di Pietro air engine, which is possibly the only rotary air engine ever built that has the potential of replacing the piston air engine. Didier informs us that this car earned Deakin University (Victoria, Australia) the first prize in a contest by Ford to design the Model T of the 21st century.

Thanks for the utube links! Those are great! If FORD is funding this work, then that tells me the big auto manufacturers are getting ready for the next generation of automobiles, and they see air as a viable direction. As others have already said, that big auto could have designs sitting on shelves waiting for the right time to release. If so, the more of a buzz, or popular discussion we can generate, then the more likely that release of new/old technology will be seen sooner rather than later. Thanks Didier. Thanks for the English version also.
