Here's an interesting article about someone I actually met.
When Smithsonian Magazine put out a special issue--something like 20th anniversary of Earth Day or whatever--I opened it up and there on facing pages were pictures of two people I had personally met and talked to about air cars. The famous energy thinker, physicist Dr. Amory Lovins of the Rocky Mountain Institute on one page, and on the facing page Wes Jackson, the biology professor who founded the Land Institute in Salina, Kansas. I also happen to be from the Rocky Mountains as well as from Salina, Kansas.
