High speed, low range. Perhaps built by Toyota to discourage others to build air cars. Since they wasted all that money to make an air car that will go 83 miles per hour, they must have done it for a reason. What better reason than to make air cars look like a stupid idea? Excuse my cynicism but in Asia where I live, an air car that goes 20 miles an hour would be welcome even if it had to be refueled once an hour.
Oh how i agree with you.So much of this is, all glitz no substance.It`s fine for student projects;provided they come down to earth, when let loose in industry.Probably 30 mph would sell in the west better;depending on local vehicle regulations.Hatchback and truck body options seeming to be most practical;not a useless bullet.
